Skype is a proprietary voice-over-Internet Protocol service and software application originally created by Niklas Zennström, and owned by Microsoft since 2011.

Review: 

Skype which is known for its free video chatting program is a VoIP services (voice over Internet Protocol).  In terms of video chatting, based on my experience it has a good reception “hindi putol-putol” unlike other video chatting program. Skype is also easy to use, it is a user-friendly messenger. It is also easy to install, you don’t have to hustle yourself to go along with it. All you have to do is download the program and install it on your computer. When you want to do a video chatting with another person all you need is a headset and or external microphone. Skype also offers different kinds of features like their customers will get several options like the ability to send files and screen sharing. They can also call other people who have this service for free. Other free features this service offers include video calls, Skype-to-Skype conference calls and instant messaging and group instant messages. They also have help support center to cater all the queries their customer has.

What is Yahoo messenger?

Yahoo Messenger is a free service that allows you to see when friends come online and to send them instant messages. It also can alert you to new e-mail in your Yahoo Mail or Yahoo Personals accounts, or when you have upcoming events recorded in your Yahoo Calendar. Yahoo Messenger offers firewall support, a standby mode that minimizes the program until an Internet connection is made, the ability to save and print your conversations, and a tabbed interface that provides quick access to your favorite stocks, news, and sports scores.

Review:

Yahoo messenger is the commonly used messenger because it is has user-friendly program. Based on my experience with this messenger the quality of the video chatting is not so good because it sometimes buffer or log but it is good when you want to share files or emailing and chatting. Yahoo messenger is also easy to install in your computer. It has also an instant messaging system that allows you to chat with your online friends either through facebook or just in your yahoo account. 

What is Windows Live Messenger?

MSN Messenger is a chat program that uses principally your hotmail account (it works with other accounts like yahoo but in a limited way) and lets you contact your hotmail contacts. You can chat, send files, have a video call with your contacts, play games with friends and a lot of stuff more

Review:

Windows Live Messenger (formerly MSN Messenger) is an easy-to-use messenger, like other messenger you could chat your online friends through this. This program when it detects internet connection it automatically log on by itself or when you want to log in it yourself. You could also share files and folders through this messenger. Windows Live Messenger also has links to several other sites like FOX Sports, CNBC, Rock Star: Supernova and more built right into the messenger interface for quick access to entertainment and news. Windows live has a standard text communication, you can enjoy emoticons, file sharing, voice and video chat, and much more.It has also a clear video chatting and voice call quality.
